The first poem spoken in human history and at the apex of God’s genesis creation was,
“So God created humankind in his own image;
In the image of God He created him:
Male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
God formed Adam from the soil and then He took part of his body to fashion a woman - the first surgery in history! The creation of man and woman was very good to God. Adam was especially fond of the woman-person God made for him and from him! He was smitten! “This is why … (they) are to be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:21-24, CJB)
One flesh. A Divine design!
Some widows experience a loss so profound that they feel like an amputee who has barely survived the most horrific disaster. Death is the tearing apart of “one flesh”. The loss of a spouse is traumatic.
But GOD, the Designer is also the Healer.
My dear sister, Creator GOD sees and hears. Only GOD can heal your wounds. The same One Who created man and woman to be one is also your Healer. He is “near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). He hears you when you cry out to Him for help (Psalm 18:6). He makes all things new in its time! (Ecclesiastes 3:1-7)
Let the Master Surgeon, Creator GOD, heal you as only He can. You are in good Hands!
