“God-lovers make the best counselors. Their words possess wisdom and are right and trustworthy. The ways of God are in their hearts and they won’t swerve from the paths of steadfast righteousness.” (Psalm 37:30-31, TPT)
What is the purpose of counseling? To bring healing to your broken heart. To bring freedom to your troubled mind. To give direction and meaning to your life. To restore peace and hope.
Widow, as you seek healing and answers, first and foremost seek Godly counsel. Counsel that points you toward your Heavenly Father. Counsel that reminds you of and directs you in His Word. Counsel that comes by the Spirit of God is gentle and brings peace, joy, love, patience, self-control, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness into your life. (Galatians 5:22-23; James 3:13-18)
His heart is for you. His eyes are watching you. He knows your heart and thoughts. He has been with you every moment of your life. You can trust Him. (Luke 12:6-7; 1 Peter 5:6-11)
And “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
