My Mamma always said, “if you’re feeling bad about your life, reach out and help someone else.” Mamma was wise! (Proverbs 31:30-31)
The flame of your life has not gone out. You are a living letter being read by those around you. You are a testimony of the faithfulness of a living God and His power to heal the broken! (Galatians 6:9-10; 2 Thessalonians 3:13b; 2 Corinthians 3:2-3)
There is a time to mourn and a time to plant, build up, embrace, speak, and to love. Sister, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3; Matthew 5:16)
It’s not about what you can’t do, but rather, what you can do. A gentle word. A thoughtful gift. A helping hand. Reach out and bless someone today and every day. Make it your mission to see Father’s Kingdom of righteousness and His will being done in your family and community. (Galatians 6:10; Matthew 6:9-14; Psalm 30:11-12)
Demonstrate your thankfulness. Let your light shine.
You will see mourning turn to dancing again!
