The Psalmist knew that in the darkest, driest moments of life there is only One who can satisfy. He wrote, “O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” (Psalm 63:1)
Like Jacob did for his beloved Rachel, your Bridegroom has rolled the stone away for you, His Love. Today, you can draw from the Well of Life. (Genesis 29:10, Jeremiah 2:13, John 4:10-14)
Another stone was miraculously rolled away when our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) conquered death. He is the Living Water refreshing the thirsty and weary. His Life overflows with compassion and mercies that bubble up fresh every morning. (Matthew 27:57-28:10; Lamentations 3:22-24)
Widow, the Lover of your soul says to you as He said at the empty tomb, “Woman, why are you weeping?…” (John 20) “believe in Me” then, “rivers of living water will flow from within (you).” (John 7:38)
Are you thirsty?
Come to the Well. The stone is rolled away for you!
